At Solo Chattr, we take your privacy seriously and provide you with the ability to control your data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please follow the instructions below.
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your Solo Chattr account, you must send your request from your registered email address. Requests sent from any other email address will not be processed. This is to ensure that the request is valid and that we delete the correct account.
Please include the following information in the subject and body of the email when making your deletion request:
- Email Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Email Body:
- Full Name
- Registered Email Address (the email linked to your Solo Chattr account)
- Date of Birth (needed to verify your identity)
Processing of Deletion Requests
- Verification: We will verify the information you provide (Full Name, Registered Email Address, Date of Birth) to ensure the request is legitimate.
- Permanent Deletion: Once verified, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Your account and all associated information
- Email address
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- MBTI type
- Friend relationships (any data associated with your friends)
- Friend messages (any direct messages exchanged with friends)
- Manner Points & Level (your entire manner points score and level will be permanently deleted)
Important Notes
- Account deletion is final: Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have backed up any important data before submitting the request.
- Manner Points: When your account is deleted, your Manner Points will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
- Legal or operational requirements may require us to retain certain data for a specific period of time.
Why Can’t I Delete My Account Directly in the App?
To maintain the integrity of the Manner Points system, Solo Chattr requires account deletion requests to be made via email. This prevents users from abusing the system by deleting accounts impulsively or maliciously, ensuring the app operates smoothly.
What Happens After My Account is Deleted?
Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to log in, and your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers. If you wish to use the app again, you will need to create a new account.sh to use the app again, you will need to create a new account.tch.
